Hi

I have had very faint bleeding for the last couple if days but wasn't too worried as know that can happen.
However yesterday and today I have suddenly felt a strong pain in my lower stomach going down towards my hip bone and then felt something come away. When I went to the loo to check it was like a mucus looking bubble. (Sorry tmi) I rang my midwife triage at the hospital but she said because I am only 8 weeks I need to contact the BEP clinic tomorrow morning. But that just seems so long off and I am so scared as I have had 2 mc previously.
Therefore wanted to know if anyone had had anything like this or knew what it was??
Any suggestions what this could be (good or bad) would be appreciated.
All I have done today is cry and worry about it. I just can't concentrate on anything.
X

Hi all.

I have just got back from the hospital and had to share straight away!!! Baby is doing really well!! They said they can see the bleeding has stopped and the baby looks really healthy and has a strong heartbeat!
It now has arms and legs and was bouncing round my belly whilst the lady was trying to scan. It also turned its head and moved its arms around like it was waving!!!!
I honestly can't explain how happy I am!!
Thank u again for all the support xxx

Excellent news, thanks for updating!

Could they tell what the cause of the bleeding was? Not that it really matters, just good that it's stopped Smile

WillYouDoTheFandango · 16/04/2013 11:43

That's fantastic news. Thanks

RJM17 · 16/04/2013 11:47

No they said its just unexplained bleeding!! But it has definately stopped and hasn't caused any damage.
Know that doesn't really help to know what's happened but as long as its ok now that's all I am bothered about now! I just can't stop smiling Smile

Thanks everyone!!! I did have to go to work but I am now finished and I'm going home to cook DH a lovely meal and have a glass if non alcoholic wine to celebrate!! I'm sure his will have alcohol in though. Lol.

I can't explain what a relief it was and seeing baby moving around and turning its head I really didn't expect that. It was such an amazing feeling and I now feel like its real and feel very connected to baby which I'll be honest I was struggling with before. But I think the scare made me realise just how much I want this little one!!

Thanks again for everything u have all been a massive support xx
