3 months to go, but feel need some more clothes (have been rotating dresses), so just ordered some jeans and 2x tops form Boden and a dress from Seraphine.
Waste of money or I can wear them post?
I have been very frugal so far and mainly used clothes from 1st pregnancy. Think I have only spent around £100. Probably spent £400 when pregnant with DC1.

I haven't spent anything yet (37+6) but that's because I haven't put on any weight at all, it's just relocated from my backside to my tummy.

I'd say splash out a bit if it's not going to cause budget issues, the last 3 months can be painful enough without also feeling dowdy or uncomfortable! And your original post and username suggest that dowdy is not at all your style normally Wink

Especially if you might be able to sell things later, or if you're planning more kids, it can still make sense to spend towards the end - for example, a lot of the ladies above have been able to be so frugal because they already had clothes stocked up.

It's my first time pregnant and at first I didn't want to buy maternity clothes but I'm so glad I have as it's definitely worth spending money on comfort.

I bought a few maternity tops from New Look (£25 for both) and a long cardi I can wear open over them that will still be good after pregnancy (£15).

My favourite buys though have been skinny maternity jeans from Topshop! They cost £38 each but totally worth it if you ask me, I just alternate between the two pairs and wear them with long, loose or maternity tops.

I've written a post about my maternity purchases, and how I've managed to not spend too much by mixing and matching jeans, tops and cardigans.

Have a read and let me know what you think! www.mummymacaroni.co.uk/pregnancy/stylish-maternity-clothes-from-the-high-street/

Far too much first time round

And saying I got it in blossom Sale doesn't help. And now I still needed to shop since this one has the bump pop out for the summer.

Blossom, seraphinen and Isabel O. Bizarrely it's the latter I wear least -
Something funny about their jersey texture

Debenhams Red Herring stuff looks fab. Must resist

My two best friends have given me their entire wardrobes and two other friends gave me bits and pieces so I have more clothes now than I have ever owned! Needed a extra pair of smart work trousers and they were hard to find...got then at nct sale for 1.50 from red herring!
Now if we were to talk about what I've spent on baby clothes.... Blush

I bought 1 pair of maternity trousers from h&m for £24.99 and then another pair from a charity shop for £3! All my tops I bought in bigger sizes in the January sales from river island, I was a size 8 but bought long tops in size 12 that I'll just sell at the carboot after, not planning another pregnancy so getting rid of normal clothes will be easier than flogging pregnancy ones.

Barely anything, I'm living in linen trousers with long tops and maxi dresses. Last baby so pointless spending.
