Am wearing one of these on recommnedation of the physio but find that the baby doesn't move much when I'm waering it but goes crazy when I take it off. Am concerned that the baby is too restricted. Any ideas / exerience? Thanks

is it for SPD?

Not specifically - no diagnosis as yet but agonizing lower back pain that makes walking after resting (esp lying down) very difficult and painful. OK once I have got going, but feel like an old hobbling lady til I've taken a few steps. Sad

Couldnt sit down in mine. I had to wear it quite tight to gain any benefit and like you worried about baby. Gave up in the end and came to a stand still as I couldnt walk in the end. It was quite near end of pregnancy and gyneacologist said if had known I was quite so bad with mobility he would of induced me two weeks before term.

I used to wear a support belt when i was carrying dd as I had spd and it what you describe certainly sounds like spd, i used to undo mine when sitting down (had to use a cushion as well) i also had a tubigrip bandage for bedtime. In the end I only wore it whilst walking about and I made sure work/family knew about my condition so I was able to rest up when i needed to (doesn't help if you already have kids tho)
