When, if at all, did your morning sickness start?

Hello! I'm just over six weeks pregnant with my first baby, and so far I've had no sickness or nausea at all. I was really expecting to feel sick, and I know it might be just around the corner, so my question is: How many weeks were you when morning sickness started, and how long did it last?

started at about 4 weeks and is still going strong at 9 weeks. I feel sick nearly all day, gag a lot during the day and have full on sicky sesh about once a day but only if my stomach is completely empty so nothing actually comes up, just lots of saliva. Nice.
With the other two they started about 6 weeks and went till 13 weeks with the first and 16 weeks with the second.

Started at 5 weeks, still going at 23 weeks despite 3 different types of medication and 2 admissions. Two other girls are work who are a month ahead and a month behind me haven't been sick at all - think I'm doing it for all 3 of us!

About week 6 with 1st but not actually sick had nausea.

Week 7 with 2nd really ill, nausea like never before & sick a few times lasted till about week 16 and came back later on.

Thank you all for your replies and well wishes! Thanks

I think from this i'll just be grateful for every day that I don't feel sick, and if it happens, it happens! I think it's just such a widely accepted part of pregnancy, I was a bit shocked it didn't start as soon as the second line appeared Grin I have just read something that suggested if you don't get it by week 6/7 you're unlikely to get it at all, how true that is I don't know.

I hope everyone who is feeling rotten feels better soon!

First pregnancy 8 1/2 weeks and ended at 11-12 weeks, but second pregnancy 5 weeks until 16 weeks and much much worse, although symptoms suddenly stopped when I bled at 9 weeks, before coming back 5 days later with a vengeance!

DS 6-8 weeks

This pregnancy - 4 weeks and I'm 14 weeks now and still throwing up in the morning.

DS is potty training and the other day pretended to throw up into the potty!

I had nausea a week before my missed period and then it lasted until 32 weeks.
I vomited back every meal Envy

VerySmallSqueak · 12/04/2013 21:39

I didn't get any with either pregnancy.

Mehrida · 12/04/2013 22:59

Mine started 2 days before my period was due. I spewed everywhere was ill one night and put it down to a dodgy meal. The next morning it happened again and that's when I thought hmmmm...

Keep your fingers crossed it doesn't appear at all!

I didn't get any sickness or nausea with any of my 5 pregnancies that went to full term.
The one I did get nausea with was the 6th which ended in a m/c at 13 weeks.

PinkApple86 · 13/04/2013 11:48

mine started at 7 weeks, until about 13 weeks. still sick occasionally if I'm really tired and I'm 17 weeks now. some foods seem to trigger it. my puking got less when I started taking pregnacare prenatal vits, maybe it was coincidence.
