that's it really... nearly 31 weeks... it's not excruciating (back pain is the worst, a bit like just before a period... just normal preggo discomfort? or should i be concerned?

Ditto! I am 38+3 and have been having very dull period-like pains, along with lower back ache. Also loss of some v.thick mucus (but not bloody). Is this something to be concerned about?
