If anyone can help suggest how to stop the bloating, or at least relieve it I'm all ears! I'm only 6+2 and I look like I've put all my 2 stone weight loss back on. I'm so uncomfortable. Please help Sad

I don't know, but I'm interested in finding out! So bloated today I can't button my jeans without feeling like I'm being squeezed Sad

that's how I feel. I've already had to stop wearing my jeans and today even leggings feel tight! I've read loads online and apparently its normal, but god it is uncomfortable Sad

Peppermint is usually good for digestion and bloating, schwepps do a peppermint cordial in tescos for £1.99 I think it is, it's what I've used after c-section to relieve wind and reduce boating

Peppermint is good.

I was gutted when my doctor said I couldn't take Colpermin (peppermint oil tablets) as its the best thing for bloating. I'm going to do some research as I think it was a general 'best not to take anything'.

Other tips - go for a wander... you'll probably leave a toxic trail.

If alone/at home get yourself on your knees with your head on the ground and your bum in the air.

Abdominal massage can also help

Sorry ladies, wish I had some advice but unfortunately it only gets worse from here on. I'm 25 weeks and feel like the size of a house...baby is taking up too much room.. So bloated so I feel your pain!

craftycottontail · 10/04/2013 18:35

The two times I felt most bloated were 6-8 weeks and now! (34 weeks)

I got through the early weeks by drinking loads of hot water with fresh lemon (add a slice and squeeze a load of juice into the water), and loads of kiwi fruit. Both are supposed to be good for bloating and it did help. Have a bath too, helps to relax.

Now I just feel streeeeetched!

Daily probiotics! I can't recommend them highly enough.
