Had a sweep today - mw said she could only get a fingertip in and I didn't find the process in any way uncomfortable or painful. She said my cervix was relatively soft, but on my notes it says it's posterior. Does this mean the sweep was most likely not successful? She didn't say as much, but she wasn't particularly forthcoming with information in general...

its hard to say, at 41 weeks a sweep is prob more likely to work as your bodys more ready for labour.

posterior means the os is in a posterior (at the back) position and judging by the fingertip comment, im guessing she means your a cm at the most...
could you not ring her and ask for further info?

hopefully u wont be waitin too long x
