reduced movement at 25.5 weeks

I am probably panicking for no reason but the last couple of days I have not really felt baby move. It (gender unknown) did 2 little kicks yesterday morning instead of its usual full on dance session and hasn't really done anything since. Should I be worried this early or am I late enough to start panicking.

I would always get this checked out, just to put your mind at rest. Midwives and hospitals are good at dealing with this and understand the worries you might have.
Sometimes, women retain additional water which makes it harder to feel the kicks thought the fluid. A Doppler picks this up much more easily. I'm sure it's all fine.

I wouldn't panic because there is probably a very simple explanation, but I would definitely get checked out. If your baby has been moving enough previously for you to notice the usual pattern or regularity and now that seems to have changed, you should always get checked. It can't do any harm and it will reassure you (and in the unlikely event there is something amiss, much better it's picked up sooner than later)! Good luck.

where is your placenta? if at front (anterior) you won't Always feel baby moving as placenta acts a cushion and absorbs some of babies movements

Ice on my belly always got my ds moving, but one occasion it didn't, so I called the mw, and was sent for monitoring.
I'd get it checked, but try not to worry x

Usually I can see baby moving around clearly first thing in the morning and at night and bout 2am. You can see him kick/punch my belly right up. When dh finally wakes up going to ring/visit hospital.

Why worry, when there is a maternity triage to call?
No-one can tell you if it is a problem - chances are things are fine, but sometimes they are not. Getting properly checked is the only way to know.
I was a regular visitor to my hospital in the 2nd and 3rd trimester - all was well for me, but the midwives were adamant that they wanted me to come in for reduced movements.

Ring the hospital now, then if they ask you to come in (which I suspect they will; or give you instructions about lying down with a cold drink and watching for 30 mins) you can go and wake your dh up with the news.
Can't think why him sleeping would be more important than checking on the baby!

I had this yesterday, contacted midwife who saw me straightaway and checked heartbeat then sent me for monitoring just to make sure. Turns out baby had moved position and i couldn't feel certain movements as a result (although they were picked up in monitoring).
Midwife was fantastic and said to always get checked if any concerns at all, and reminded me that the reason they invest in community monitors is to enable them to check everything is ok otherwise what would be the point?
Wake your husband up, or go yourself. Agree his sleep is not as important.
