Pregnancy

How long did it take to conceive your second child and what age are you?

Just wondering really!

I'm 33 and have just had my first ds. We know we want another and definitely don't want a big age gap.

I'm worried by all the recent publicity about how many couples really struggle to get pregnant with their second baby.

2 1/2 years and I was 37 when I eventually got pg.

We did have a long history of infertility, though. Were very surprised to have a second at all!

Tried for 6 months to no avail. Then decided to stop. One drunken bonk and I got pg! Bizarre.

I'm 32

My son (9) was unplanned - we were married and knew we wanted children but hadn't actually stopped the pill to try!

We seperated and I remarried. 6 month ago we stopped contrapception to "let fate decide". I'm 20 weeks with triplets!!!

35 and first attempt. Had DD at age 36. (DS was a surprise at age 34, but a good surprise!)

I was 33 when I conceived DD2, it took 1 time, as it did with DD1.

Made the years of contraceptive use seem worthwhile ;)

I was 28 first time and took 1 month, almost 30 2nd time and took one drunken night! Third time took exactly 2 years, 34 by the time it happened.

Two months but we didn't manage to DTD exactly on ovulation day the first month, so I don't know if that counts. I was 35. (DC 1 got pg the first day of trying, I was 33).
