I've just started getting excrutiating pain at the inside of the tops of my legs - that tendon that attaches the pubic bone to the leg. Does that make sense? It's hard to explain...

It comes on suddenly and feels like its going to snap or give way and is so bloody painful it makes me involuntarily scream out, where ever I am Blush

I am 39 weeks so thankfully not long to go but I was just wondering if anyone else has this or knows what it is?

It could be Pelvic Girdle Pain, caused by pressure baby is putting on your pelvis as he / she gets into position. I've had pgp for weeks it's awful!!
It could also be as simple as baby hitting a nerve as he/she moves I've had plenty of stabbing pains caused by soon to be DS1 pressing in all the wrong places.. Not nice! x

I'm 39+5 and also started getting this about a week ago. It comes and goes - usually worse when I get out of bed or stand up after sitting for long periods. It worries me as makes my legs give way as it's such a sudden, strong pain but apparently is baby coming down making pressure on that whole area, probably on a nerve.

I look forward to other, more informative comments than mine though !

Yes it sounds like the same thing...bloody horrible isn't it?! I really feel for those of you Tinkerbell, having had it for weeks!

Is there anything you can do to help it or is it just a case of resting as much as possible?
