Not sure what this is. 20 mins ago i started getting what i think is really bad gut pains so i went for a no 2. But i am still getting the gut pain. It lasts for about 40 secs then goes. Im 23 weeks.
Every 10 mins! Should i be worried?

Phone the labour ward and talk to a midwife. They will advise you.

Ring the labour ward, but don't panic, it's probably braxton hicks or a bit of a tummy bug x

Does your stomach tighten during these pains? Are there any other symptoms?

If you are worried, I would phone your midwife at the hospital. They are very knowledgable and will either alleviate your fears or tell you to come in for a check.

Stay calm. Call them- hopefully they'll be able to give you answers.
Good luck.

Stay calm, there are a lot of viral infections and bugs doing the rounds.

What does the skin on your stomach d when you get the pains and have you taken any paracetamol?

ButteryJam · 27/03/2013 22:48

I'd say call the ward - you should have a number on your notes.

I had something similar around 17 weeks also, which felt like contractions and was awful, but thankfully it was nothing serious and went away after a couple of hours.

Take some paracetamol for the pain.
