38+5 here, lots of backache and been having period pains mainly at night, also had a couple of spells of false contractions. For an hour last night they were every twenty min, then an hour every fifteen. Then nothing!
Been having stabby cervix pains for weeks but have really increased in painfulness today! Ouch!
Been doing some cleaning and eaten a pineapple.
Fingers crossed

I've been sick again and getting tummy cramps like when you have a stomach bug. Really hope it's not! I'm hoping its a 'clear out' but I think that's wishful thinking.

Is the sickness normal? I have felt sick but not actually been. My tummy starting to hurt again. Wish there was a sign that said this is def labour x

Hey guys - I'm 38+5 and having the same symptoms. Occasional period pain and dull back ache, usually at night. It's just so frustrating as there doesn't seem to be any pattern to it! Hmm I generally feel fine during the day - just can't sleep properly at night. Wish we knew if it WAS the start of things - just so frustrating second-guessing every little twinge! Good luck everyone!

38+2 also and very similar. Back sore and period like cramps for few days. Think the baby is trying to engage further but that is just my guess.

Ironically had my best sleep for months - 5 hours solid! Then got up for a wee and it set off about 5-10 mins of quite strong period and back pain. Now wondering if its my version of BH as I haven't had any that I recognise yet? Baby has been 3/5ths engaged for 3 weeks but seems to have dropped a little lower now as her bum is further over than it was. The not knowing is just so frustrating!

Second night of no sleep zzzz -no pains, just really numb/ odd sensation in my legs.

Here's hoping its today! I'm going out to buy Easter eggs for the family (we are meant to be visiting them in London on Sunday) - its a sure fire way of bringing something on I'm sure!

Slept really well last night! Still some nausea and cramps today. I'm torn between going for a walk and trying to encourage baby out or making the most of a toddler-free day and going back to bed!
