My doctor has confirmed it - I am pregnant and expecting our 5th child. Very early to be telling people but I'm excited. Family doesn't know and won't know until 12 weeks but I just had to tell someone other than my husband.

I'm booked for my dating scan at 11 weeks and 2 days, so I can have the combined screening like my previous children.

Excited. So, yeah. Just had to tell someone before I burst :)

Yay.congrats! I am nearly 4 weeks pregnant I didn't test early oh no with our second and its taken a little while so really chuffed. But also panicking something will go wrong now. Eek. 5? Wow you will be busy.

Congratulations Mama, that's lovely. Blimey, 5 eh? I am heavily pregnant with no2 and struggling to deal with my first born who is being a pain in the bum today. Cannot imagine doing it with four other children. I take my hat off to you. Good luck with it all

Pon Thanks, I don't even know how I manage most days - I have 6 month old twins and 2 dc under 5 and it's yet to sink in that I'm bloody crazy! Haha. Congratulation on no2!

quiet GP has guesstimated me at 4 weeks too but won't know exactly until 11 week scan. Excited! Congratulations too!

Just thought you should know that 11 weeks 2 days is the absolute minimum for a nuchal scan - if you are out by even a day they won't be able to do the nuchal test and not all hospitals offer repeat scans if they cant get it there and then. It is also difficult to see some of the detail at that age. 12 weeks is nicer to see. You might be better delaying scan by a week or at least a couple of days if you are confident about your dates.

Thanks, my other scans were all past 12 weeks but because I had twins in my last pregnancy he wanted me in at the earliest. Thanks for info never really thought of that before, so I'll call and delay by a week if I can :)

Congratulations! I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant with number 5, only another two weeks until my first scan not at all excited oh no

I can't wait for the scan, it's secretly my favorite part, besides finding out the gender! Haha.

bod Took your advice and rearranged my appointment, I'm now booked in on the 19th May (11+5) :)

We've decided not to find out the gender. Have four boys already and don't really mind either way, so we're keeping it a surprise

I have 3 boys and a girl, wouldn't mind another girl or a boy really. Healthy and Happy are all I care about. I'm not patient enough to wait and find out plus I like to know what I'm buying for, saying that most outfits were yellows/whites/greens.

Update Received a call earlier; maybe twins again but gotta wait for my tests on Monday.

I'm private, he wasn't open yesterday but he was today but only emergency appointments. Apparently, I qualified.

I have my results, they're high, so I'm booked in for a 7+2 scan to check, and then back in at 11+5 for a dating scan plus combined testing. Eek.

Ignore that first bit, I'm x-posting so I'm c+p haha.
