Any thoughts on what could be causing this pain?

I'm 10 weeks with dc2, since this morning I've had a shooting pain down my leg from my hip area.
It's been getting progressively worse and now I can't get up the stairs

My toes are sort of numb, like a tingly feeling too. I've taken paracetamol but it's made no difference.
Any ideas?

Could it be sciatica (sp?) I got that quite badly in pregnancy.

I'd go to the GP straight away OP.

sciatica for sure! You can be referred to a physio by your GP or midwife. (if you haven't had your booking appointment yet ask the midwife then).

My booking appointment is on Thursday so I'll ask then.
Hopefully it'll ease a little so I can at least get around the house. Dd has already asked me why I'm walking like grandpa Just to clarify, grandpa is 86

In all my pregnancies it was intermittent, mention it to the midwife or GP but there isn't anything they can do really aside from some physio (which didn't help that much imo). When it got quite bad I found a hot water bottle helped or lying in a warm bath as long as you have someone there to help you in and out of it. I also slept with a pillow between my knees as I found that helped a fair bit.
