Hello All
I feel like a newbie! I was here 7 years ago when I had my beautiful baby boy..... well my partner and me have spoke about having another and basically to cut a long story short, the last few days I had been experiencing things I felt before I found out I was pregnant before.
So I decided to buy a Clearblue Digital test which I took yesterday morning and got PREGNANT 1-2 result..... a little shocked I decided to try later on in the evening and got a NOT PREGNANT result, I am working today but brought a test with me..... Im thinking that I should try again..... Has anyone else experienced this? I have heard about false negatives but not often false positives......

Thanks in advance and I look forward to getting to know you all

I think its most likely because of the higher concentration of HCG in your morning pee. Go buy some cheapies and test again tomorrow morning as from the sounds of it you're not very far past ovulation so the evening tests are less likely to show it.

You are correct as well in that false positives are very very rare so allow me to be the first in offering a tentative congratulations Smile

Maybe coz its such early days the test later in the day didn't pick up the hormone as it was too dilute. Definitely try again, preferably with first morning urine :)

When your that early it could be that your horemone levels are too low in the evening to be picked up. I'd try again in a coule if days with first morning urine but I think a positive is a positive Grin

As previous poster said, morning wee = higher concentration of HCG. Congratulations! Grin

Eekks..... Im thinking your all right, I guess as it seems I am very early on so maybe the hormone levels are too low of an evening :D

Thanks for the congratulations :) xx cant wait to get to know you all..... with a 7 year old I feel like this is all brand new again! haha x
