I had my first scan few days ago at 11 weeks and 4 days, everything was fine with the baby and my self but they found out that the baby had a very small exomphalos (bowel). The consultant said it was very small and she thinks it will be gone by 12 weeks and it could be due to the early scan, so I was booked for another scan next week to see how things are going. However there is also a chance that the exomphalos will not go and it can also be a symptom of other serious syndroms (Edward and Pataus)! has anyone had an experience with exomphalos at an early scan that went away after...pls share. many thanx
