My husband loves Turtles.
And he wants for our baby everything that has turtles on it.
But my question is, are turtle designs more for a boy or can it be for both. We don't know yet what we are getting..
So DH bought already a crib mobile with turtles on there..

Thanks for your opinion

I think you are massively overthinking this. It's a Turtle.

turtles are gender neutral I think.
anyway dd lives in hand me downs from her boy cousins, she sleeps in a blue Moses basket every night and hasn't yet grown a penis Wink

Hmm

Maybe the mobile is happy little girl turtles.

Eh? Nothing is "for boys" or " for girls"! I don't think anyone, however pink and frilly and gender stereotyped could object to a turtle themed nursery for anyone

Huh?

noblegiraffe · 24/03/2013 06:58

Depends on whether it's a boy turtle or a girl turtle. Is the turtle playing football or does it have a bow on its head?

I've just come back onto this as I was worries I was a bit harsh and maybe I should've given the whole animals for girls / animals for boys thing more thought, but it turns out I needn't have worried! :o
