Lol im nesting at 14 weeks, fun times :-)

SourSweets · 23/03/2013 13:13

Me too! I'm 20 weeks and we have just moved house because of my nesting desire! I luckily have a very accommodating husband.

TinkyPeet · 23/03/2013 13:31

I did it a couple weeks ago, went up to my bedroom to get laundry and ended up spending 3 hours gutting and rearranging it. Then I spent the next 3 days doing the rest of the house. I'm back to 'cant be arsed' mode now :) lol

You guys are lucky :)

I'm on my second dc and haven't had the nesting instinct at all this time, when I was pregnant with my first I went mad :) thankfully my dh seems to have it this time :)

cupcake78 · 23/03/2013 15:21

This is my second. I don't remember being this bad with my first.

Anyone that stands in my way will get shouted at. God I need chocolate

If you want to come to my house after I will provide chocolate....

20wks isn't early, Grin theres plenty more that needs to be done. I don't want to scare you cupcake but I've just reached 30wks with dc3, and its cranked up a notch. I'm now classing it as extreme nesting.
I've already done the loft, spare room (4times), the living room had a mahoosive reorganise, removed a ton of junk from my house, redecorated my bedroom, I'm in the process of decorating 2 other rooms. which i class as normal nesting.
and now I've put the cot up and started on the kitchen cupboards. Which only happens when I'm extreme nesting.

cupcake78 · 23/03/2013 18:56

The room is emptied! Woo hoo. The chocolate has yet to materialise. I want to do more but the SPD is killing me.

14 weeks here and I've just sorted my wardrobe, the airing cupboard and toddlers drawers.

I'm ashamed to say I've accumulated 8 bin liners of clothes/textiles to take recycling or charity!

Im beginning to think my house would not be out of place on hoarders or a life of grime... Sad
