Is anyone else freezing cold all the time?

Am nearly 14 weeks.... For the whole of this pregnancy I've been freezing cold, especially when I'm stationary for a while. Obviously we aren't having the best spring weather ever but this seems more extreme....I can even be cold with the heating on.

Do u think it could be low iron? Was borderline with ds1 but managed to avoid iron supplements. Only had bloods taken at 12 week scan so I don't get the results til 16 weeks. Wondering whether to just buy some at the supermarket

I have been cold too. Im always on the cold side but more so in weeks 4 to 11. Im a but warmer now though but still with blanket on sofa. I wld go to GP rather than just take iron tabs xx

I'm 23 weeks and have been SO cold for the last 4 months. Even with hot water bottles, wrapped in blanket with heating on and drinking hot drinks. I am not hypothyroid and all my bloods were normal. I hate it. Sad = cold Grin

Yep, freezing! Only 9 weeks but I am straight into bed with a hot water bottle (not on belly, obviously) most evenings after work. I have put it down to my body focusing on things internally and not bothering to send blood round my extremities [scientific] Are you taking a multivit with iron in?

I've always been a cold person but I've really struggled since I've been pregnant especially as it seems to be virtually impossible to find warm maternity clothes. I'm 25 weeks now and still pretty cold, no doubt the pregnancy overheating will hit me just as the weather warms up and I'll be moaning I'm too hot!

Yes. Sometimes DH asks me why I am shaking. I live under a blanket now.

Thanks everyone....maybe it's just another weird pregnancy symptom. Last time I was pregnant at this stage it was a warmer time of year so didn't notice. Of course I have woken up to about 3inches of snow this morning...great!

Of course I will be a boiling sweaty mess in August when I'm 8 months....typical!

Have found that the best thing is getting ds to sit on my knee, he is always lovely and warm.. Not always amenable though
