Muffled movements at 33 weeks?

Normally the wee one has a mad half hour after lunch but didn't do much today. It made me realise I've not felt her much at all today. Only very slight movements which, after treating my ribs like a football the last couple of days, felt out of place. So I had some chocolate but nothing much happened. One kick and not much else. So I called the midwife who said to have a sugary drink and lie down for an hour. Had a cup of full caffeine coffee and lying down but still the movements feel very....slight? Like she's in a padded room.

I do have an anterior placenta and think she's moved head down in the last couple of days but thought that would mean her feet would kick my ribs harder. I'm going to give it the hour and see but wondered if anyone else had this around about the same time?

Thanks :)

Of course now after coming home she's wriggling about like mad. Awkward bugger...

Mine does this! I always set a time and say If it gets to...I'll call for advice/to come into be monitored then the monkey starts wriggling! I do think the kicks change due to changes in position and less room but if you get worried, there's no harm in getting checked out.
