I'm 39+1 weeks and decided to have a bath with a couple of drops of clary sage oil last night before bed, I was woken up in the night a couple of times with period like cramping in my lower abdomen and back but the pain wasn't intermittent and didn't come in waves it was more constant but quite painful I've also had a dodgy tummy yesterday but very mild runs..
What could this be it doesn't feel like labour but then as a new mum I don't know what labour feels like !!

Could be! That's how one of my labours started (the other was an induction). Keep an eye on things and good luck!

Yes, lots of period type cramps for me. Then dodgy tummy and lots of show. Labour started a few days later! Have your bag at the ready Smile

Another first timer here, so equally clueless. But I've been having period-like cramps in the same style (sort of constant for a half or full day then nothing for many days) since about 33 wks! Had a big bout of them on the weekend and thought things might be kicking off, but nothing. I'm 38+2. Although, the dodgy tummy sounds like a promising sign!
