Weight gain at 26 weeks

Have put on 19lbs at 26 weeks and paranoid that this is too much. Thinking another stone between now and due date will take me to the two and a half stone mark.

Am I being realistic? I'm eating healthily and getting some gentle exercise but just a bit worried. What were you at this stage and where did you get to by due date?

I had put on 14lb by 20 weeks. I didn't really weigh after that until 4 weeks before I gave birth and I had put on 3 stone altogether by then. However, I did eat chocolate healthily, what I wanted when I wanted and did no exercise apart from walk when I could.

I can't say whether this is normal or not but if you're eating healthily and doing some exercise then you should be ok.

If it's any consolation, within 4 weeks of giving birth I was down to 13lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight without even trying!

I am 26+1 and have put on 14lbs. I think it all depends on your height, build and starting weight so trying to say what is normal or average varies so much between different women.

I have been using this calculator as a rough guide
