Is this normal? Seems like quite a big gap right at the end of pregnancy? Do all hospitals do this? Just makes me a bit nervous. Ta!

Yes this is standard for a second pregnancy. If you're worried you could ask your MW if she'll see you again at 40 weeks.

Same as me with my first x

Ok, thanks for responding. Will see how i feel this week and maybe see if I can get an appt ahead of 41 weeks if I can't wait...maybe they'll offer a sweep at the same time Smile. Thanks ladies.

Yes, normal, and with a second pg you should be offered a sweep a 41 weeks, so guessing they'll have added time to that appt.

I'm 36 wks with DC2 and next appt 38wks. Mw has actually said she prefers to see women weekly after that, which is fine by me, they must be fortunate in their resources, but I know the schedule is not til 41 weeks.
