Hi

Crazy question but is your stomach supposed to go hard when ur pregnant?? All the people I've seen that are pregnant seem to have hard tummys but mine still feels really soft and flabby.
Oh I'm 5 weeks x

Erm no not at 5 weeks! Your uterus is only slightly larger than normal at the moment and still well inside your pelvis.

It'll happen around 14-16 weeks ish (very rough estimate based on my own experiences) but with my son it was very noticeable whereas my daughter and this pregnancy i'm quite squidgy (19 weeks almost) it's only when the baby moves really that i go firm but not for long.

Aw, try not to stress. I know how hard it must be after losses.

No, 5 weeks the embryo has barely implanted.

Believe me, there will be plenty of time to love or hate the stretched skin of a hard bump. Enjoy the stomach whilst it lasts.

At 5 weeks no. My bump only started to become noticeable 16-17 weeks.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 16/03/2013 22:51

I could tell from 13 weeks (but other people wouldn't). There's also variation in firmness. It's firmer overall but when I have Braxton hicks or sometimes when baby moves my bump gets really hard!
