Sex in the first Trimester

This is my first pregnancy so I'm learning as I go... I am in my 11th week of pregnancy and I was wondering about sex in the first trimester. Do you have to be careful which positions you are in, squashing your tummy and things if DH is on top? Or is anything fine? :)

Go for it! No problems with baby but fair play to you I used PG as an excuse not to do 'it' was too ill to feel up to it GrinGrinGrin

As long as no bleeding or having been advised not by medical pros; go for it in any position. I recommend enjoying missionary whilst you can ;-s I'm 30 weeks now and miss that position, believe it or not :-) x

brilliant, thanks ladies!! I have been really lucky so far (touch wood) with no morning sickness or anything, just very tired all the time but this is good to hear! I am so eager to have the first scan to just know that there is a baby in there and that all is well.

I especially like your advice Bunnychan 'go for it in any position' lol - DH will be pleased to hear that I am sure!

Could I also ask, when do you normally start to show? All my trousers are too tight now I can't do them up!

I'm 10weeks and definitely find some positions more comfortable than others, some cause a little pain in my uterus area which is probably fine but I don't like it!! so just find what makes u most comfortable and enjoy it while you can!! Smile

I bloated the whole of the first tri and couldn't do my trousers up. It went down and the started to show a tiny bump from about 16 weeks. Congratulations on your pregnancy by the way x
