Hey, im Curious to know how long it takes for the bump to go down after the little one comes..? And do you really bleed a heavy period for the whole 6 weeks after :O ?!
Less than 2 weeks till I'm due and getting nervous!!

Hi do try not to panic the bleeding does gradually slow down after the first few days and as for the bump everyone is different but they do say if you breast feed it is supposed to help good luck xx

Well I had a csection 6 weeks ago and tummy is well down, still a little bit to go.

I bled for 2 weeks, very light - not the horrific blood loss that people has led me to believe!

Don't worry too much, babies are gorgeous, delicious bundles of loveliness!!

I'm sure everyones different but I bleed heavily for 4 weeks then lightly for at least two more. The bump goes down gradually. Only remember the first couple of days being very strange (jelly belly!). Other things to know about: nipples get sore and can crack and bleed from bf'ing. Your milk can leak and it smells sour quickly. You'll have your boob out 90% of the first time with a newborn. You might be embarrassed initially but by day 2 you probably won't even hide the nipple anymore!

You will have a lovely newborn though and will feel proud at keeping them happy, safe and fed Smile Everything else is just a phase and will pass!
