Feeling a bit sorry for myself today and just need to talk it out! I work full time plus events out of hours with a 1.5 hr commute each way. Work won't change my hours or let me work from home aside from my pre arranged working from home Fridays..I have a 22 mo dd who won't sleep past 4-5am. I have the usual growing a baby tiredness too. But it is all getting too much and I am so tired I have headaches and feel awful today. DH is very good and helps out but I am soooo tired. How is everyone else coping?!

Hi Wish, I'm 16 wks and not as tired as I was to begin with, but I work from home Thursdays and Fridays, and I think that's making it much easier. (Although I work 0900 - 1945 Mon to Weds, with an hour commute...but knowing that I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn on Thurs and Fri is a godsend!)

Have you had your risk assessment at work yet? If not then I'd advise you to get that in ASAP, and to make it clear to them that you're going to have to make some changes, but understand that you'll have to be ready to compromise (although not to compromise on yours or your baby's health).

Other than that, do you have any family nearby who could maybe take your 22month old for a weekend, just to give you a couple of night's uninterrupted sleep?

Chin up and you're not alone :)

I am 17 weeks with twins and shattered this evening, lying comatose on sofa. Work very intense this week, both my dcs have been up numerous times in the night for the last couple of weeks, have cold. I am sure I was in the glowing energetic stage at 17 weeks last time...we will get through it, just rest now and go to bed early.
