Found out today iv had a mmc , the hospital does do the surgical treatment but this is what I want , can I change hospital ?

So sorry for your loss where are you in the country? Is there more than one hospital in your area? Surely a midwife should talk through this with you? So sorry you are not getting answers

I'm in Leicestershire / Derbyshire area . Burton hospital just said they do not do it they didn't advise of another hospital that does . I will have to call the midwife/doctors to find out if I have the option. It seems surreal and being only 24 with a healthy dd I didn't expect this, but I guess no one does ! Thank you

Sorry for your loss. This list might help you find an Early Pregnancy Unit. A lot of the EPUs have websites stating the management methods that they do. You can also phone the EPUs for advice. (Maybe there's a friend that can do this for you?) Thinking of you.

I had a complete mc on tuesday... I share you pain. Mine went naturally so had no need for intervention. Whatever they decide to do i hope you are ok... Hugs +++ to you... Am sorry for your loss. X

Thank you all for your kindness . I didn't expect to be posting a thread about this tbh .. Very sad day , the longest of my life . But we have to keep strong and try to move on as best we can. Doesn't help that my colleague is due the same week that I should have been .. :(
