Hi
I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second baby and have just been diagnosed with vasa previa and a low lying placenta. Not seen my consultant yet but all the stuff I have read on Internet is very depressing.
I went into labour with my son at 26 weeks when my waters broke, ended up with an emergancy c-section, still don't know why. He spent 13 weeks in intensive care and thank fully is fine now, just a bit small.
Has anyone been admitted into hospital in 3rd trimester because of vasa previa? Has anyone else been diagnosed antenatally with this?
