I thought I'd be feeling more 'myself' by now, but I'm still fall asleep at any point in the day tired.
My iron level is 13.8, so absolutely fine.
I can't remember continuing to feel this tired in my two previous pregnancies, or am I viewing through rose tinted spectacles?
Anyone else the same?
Cheers

I'm only on my first pregnancy, so far from being an expert.... But for me, I (oddly) wasn't really that tired at all in the first trimester - felt pretty normal tbh, and didn't have morning sickness or any other real symptoms. However 14-16 weeks I felt EXHAUSTED, it was odd. Then went back to feeling normal again....

Not sure that helps at all but thought I'd share! Hope you feel better soon

I started a thread asking the same about 8 wks ago. I'm now 25wks and sorry to say still exhaustedHmm

Seems this is just the way this pregnancy is going to be.

Thanks for posting.
So it might go, or it might stay the same Grin
I'm wondering if it's wrong for me to have a lie down now. I should be making a fish pie!

I felt shattered up until 18 weeks and was cross because I thought it would go after 12 weeks. Now 25 weeks and it is better although after 6pm forget it - half way through making tea I get exhausted. bear with it I think you'll feel brighter soon and if not, just listen to your body and rest when you need to! xx

I am still exhausted - 32 weeks - have come in and out of high energy periods this pg with DC2. With DD1 was exhausted whole time.

MrsTotes · 13/03/2013 10:14

Tiredness has been my main pregnancy "symptom". I thought it would pass with the first trimester too, but I'm 20 weeks now and still feel exhausted some days. I guess it's no surprise, when you think of everything that's going on in there.

Plus, I rarely sleep through the night now, what with aches, pains and trips to the loo... I'm tired just thinking about it Smile

Poor you!! I also have been permanently shattered, but if it give you some light at the end of the tunnel - I started to feel a bit better at week 17, I think there is a hormone change. I felt truly shocking at week 16, and very emotional. Lots of chocs and baths and sleep if you can!!!

cyclecamper · 13/03/2013 11:06

Week 16 was when I went back to my Dr to see if the blood tests done previously had found a cause for the exhaustion because it was still debilitating. She told me to do a pregnancy test Grin. It was a bit better after week 17, but only in fits and starts. I'm nearly 27 weeks now and went to bed at 9 last night and could quite happily go back to sleep now Blush.

nearly 16 weeks here and shattered, not helped by the 4 trips to the loo every night.
