6 and a half weeks and discharge

I found out a couple of weeks ago that I am pregnant and haven't really had any symptoms since! I saw the GP for the first time last week and he was not concerned about a 'mini period' that I had around the time my period was due and said I was lucky to not be experiencing any symptoms yet! I was worried about it previously.

Today I noticed that I had slight discharge, which seemed quite clear but maybe a little cloudy. I thought it was strange so wiped again (TMI!) and there were a few bits of yellow/green discharge. That was just this morning and since I have just had quite a clear colour again. It's a little bit like I am ovulating, but is this normal? Should I worry about the one instance of the greeny colour?

I have read other threads on here that talk about "snot like" discharge and I wouldn't say I have that at the moment but seeing as it might be a sign of infection I would now like some advice.

Thanks!

I would get it checked out because of the colour, might be nothing but I'd go to the GP anyway. I wouldn't worry about having no symptoms yet, I don't think mine really hit until 9 weeks ish. Enjoy it while it lasts! Grin

It could be your mucus plug forming or an infection such as thrush (which unfortunately is common in pg). I would check it out though, if only for peace of mind.

As for symptoms, make the most of not having any! I was feeling great for the first 6 weeks then the nausea hit and I've had it ever since (now 9+5 week). Some women don't get many symptoms throughout their pregnancy so I wouldn't worry about that. The time to be concerned is if you have very bad cramps and full red blood flow.

I hope everything goes ok for you!

tbh, I have this and it started same time as you. Im now 23 weeks pregnant.

Yeah, I wouldn't get too worried unless you start seeing blood. I did freak out at first but looking at the NHS website it appears that because of the relaxed muscles etc the whole area is having to work a lot harder to 'keep clean'.

Just make sure you wear cotton briefs and keep clean! (Mother's advice!)
