Teeny bit of bleeding at 38 weeks?

Last night (ironically after watching call the midwife) found a small spot of blood in pants, about the size of a lentil. Definitely bright red, not brown or pink. Also don't think it's a show - lost the mucus plug in first pregnancy and nothing like that. Nothing since, baby moving lots, fair few braxton hicks (as there has been for a week or so now).
Am inclined to think its nothing to worry about - what do you think?
(had been bouncing in birth ball quite a lot during CTM so wonder if Ive just stretched something a bit during that)

Just one tiny isolated spot I would probably not worry about, any more I would be calling the mw to discuss it.

One very stupid question, but you are certain of the location?? I sometimes find after a bounce on my ball or a poo my friend Percy the pile bleeds a little Blush

I had this and was the start of a placental abruption, so please go in and get checked. Watching Chummy last night got all too much.

Fashion I'm sorry to hear that. Can I ask what your other symptoms were?

Felt a bit dizzy, but hey, that's pregnancy. When they listened to the baby's heartbeat it was very, very slow and they did an emergency CS. I was lucky - they caught it early because I was actually in the hospital at the time, and ds survived with not too many issues.

Get checked. Especially if you are rhesus negative. I have a teeny bleed at about 36 weeks and had to be monitored /examined. Because of rh- status I had to have some more anti-D. All was fine though but get checked.
