Hi,

We are considering going to Dr Kunde at Lansdell suite for private delivery. Any recent experiences would be much appreciated? And also if you recommend any other obstetrician rather than Dr Kunde this would also be very helpful.

Thank you

Hello!
Dr. Kunde delivered two of my 3 babies (#2 and #3) and he is absolutely wonderful. I've been recommending him to everyone I know. DD was born in July 2011 and DS in March 2013, both at Lasndell. Dr. Kunde is really knowledgeable, caring and he takes his time to answer all your questions and concerns. I never felt rushed during the appointments. He was also very responsive between appointments by phone and e-mail. I wanted to try VBAC with baby #2 and he was very supportive of it. My contractions became regular at 5AM on a Saturday and we phoned Dr. Kunde. He immediately answered the phone and managed to get to the hospital before we did, so by the time we got there, everything was ready - labour room, midwife who assisted him, etc. For reasons beyond Dr Kunde's control I ended up with emergency c-section with baby #2 and then planned one with baby #3 and I have to tell you, Dr Kunde is an amazing surgeon! My scars were super small and barely visible. Recovery was also very fast. Whenever other health professionals (visiting midwives, my GP, etc.) see my scar now they can't believe how small and thin it is. Visiting community midwife told me that it was probably the smallest scar she has ever seen and she had many years of experience. So, if you choose Dr Kunde, you will be in really good hands. Please let me know if you have any specific questions - I will be very happy to answer them.
Congratulations and good luck with your pregnancy.
