Everywhere says you're meant to feel movement earlier with your second.

With my first I felt distinct pointy jabs Grin at 14+1. I'm now 14+4 and getting a little worried. My first was oblique all the way through, so I'm hoping it's position.

Anyone else had this?

Yes. Felt my first at 15 weeks. Second at 19+ . Nothing to worry about!

Feeling your first so early is v unusual. As you say yourself, the position may have caused you to feel him/her so early.
I know it's easy for someone else to say it but I imagine you will feel the early flutters soon. In the meantime, have you listened with a doppler during your health checks yet? The heartbeat is very reassuring.
Also, some babies naturally move more than others. Is your weight the same this time? I think there are plenty of reasons why a mother may feel stuff later the second time. And you are only 3 days further along than last time. But of course it's natural to worry. I'd be the same. If you are very concerned perhaps you could have an extra scan or listen with a doppler. Would that make you feel better? Good luck.

I didn't feel the second until 16 weeks. I wouldn't worry yet.

I didn't feel dc3 until 23 weeks. Dc1 and dc2 is felt around 18 weeks.

Thanks for the replies, it's reassuring to know it isn't just me. My weight's the same (just!)

I have my 16 week in about 10 days, so I'll just try to brazen it out until then - and remember these replies when I wibble x
