is there any reason why i can't sunbath????

I am 35 wks pregnant and just wanted to check if there was any reason why me and bump can't sunbath this afternoon. will my skin be too sensitive or anything??

It could be but I think as long as you use a really high SF suncream you should be OK. But you're also prone to overheating, dehydration & heatstroke much quicker when you're pregnant so make sure you have plenty of drinks too. A little sun should be OK but be careful

Some pregnant women are more at risk of getting something called chloasma - which basically means your face doesn't tan evenly. It's not dangerous but you can end up looking a bit peculiar - its other name is "Mask of Pregnancy" because the cheeks and upper lip tan most.
I got it a bit with dd (born at the end of a month-long heatwave) and I felt I looked a bit silly.
Make sure you slap on the Factor 30 all over your face and neck and enjoy.

fab thank you will, make sure i plaster cream on and take my water out in the garden with me. might just read my book for half an hour and see how i am.
