Private consultants at the Lindo Wing

Hi there. I am 8 weeks pregnant and thinking about going private. (Although the cost is extremely shocking). I have been looking at consultants at the Lindo Wing. Two consultants seem to have amazing reviews on mumsnet - Karl Murphy and Guy Thorpe-Beeston. Can anybody recommend them? Also what do people think about the Lindo wing? Thanks for any advice!

I'm under R Fernando at the Lindo Wing and he's great so far. V attentive to my every question, gives me lots of time, always quick to answer emails or return a call. I'm 29 weeks

I had DD at the Lindo Wing 3 years ago and am planning to return Monday for DC2 (ELCS). I always felt I was in good hands. My consultant is Etienne Horner.

I have to say, we have private insurance that covers just about everything and I am not sure I would pay my own money -- it's a luxury. I don't think baby or I will be safer than on NHS.
