Call your delivery suite. Go to the hospital.

Your post makes little sense.

MoonHare · 07/03/2013 17:25

Sounds like a migraine. Quite commmon in pregnancy but you should phone your maternity unit for advice straight away.

BitBewildered · 07/03/2013 17:26

Ring either your GP, out of hours or NHS direct straightaway.

MissyMooandherBeaverofSteel · 07/03/2013 17:27

Get to the hospital asap, is there someone that can take you? If not get an ambulance. Don't drive yourself there.

JudithOfThePeace · 07/03/2013 17:27

Definitely call delivery suite and go to hospital.

Call a friend or your partner now and tell them you have to go right now.

JudithOfThePeace · 07/03/2013 17:29

By the way, I agree it does sound like a migraine but pregnancy is not a time to take chances so please contact the hospital.

MissyMooandherBeaverofSteel · 07/03/2013 17:38

Are you ok op?

Hai1988 · 07/03/2013 17:57

it sounds like a migraine - you need somebody to monitor you, call your partner or a parent or friend.
i get them and get very confused, if it gets worse you might not be able to call them back... call somebody to come and mind you now.

MissyMooandherBeaverofSteel · 07/03/2013 18:00

Is there someone with you?

Hai1988 · 07/03/2013 18:14

Not atm its just me and ds whos 7. Dh shud be home soon tho.

Whats weird now is both my hand and inside my mouth! Have gone numb now!

badguider · 07/03/2013 18:20

That is another migraine symptom I get but if this was me soon you won't be able to think type or make a phonecall. Call your DH right now and tell him what's happening and that he must come now. Also make sure he has keys and can get in cause you might not be able to open the door.
Then Tell your DS that you're not well and go to bed in a dark room.

thistlelicker · 07/03/2013 18:20

Go get seen!!

sleepyhead · 07/03/2013 19:09

I had this yesterday. It was a migraine. I called the hospital but as I had no other pre-eclampsia risk factors or symptoms, and the visual disturbances I was having were consistent with migraine but not pre-eclampsia, they were happy for me to take paracetamol and rest in a darkened room until it passed.

Do phone them back if you're not happy though. Better seen than sorry.

sleepyhead · 07/03/2013 19:11

I also wasn't able to see the keyboard - was at work and spent 10 minutes trying to find the L key... plus losing words and slightly confused speech.

Poor colleagues were having a leaving tea for me (I'm 35 weeks), but I went home instead.

MissyMooandherBeaverofSteel · 07/03/2013 19:16

Is your dh there now?

Hai1988 · 07/03/2013 19:37

Yeah dh is home now and im hiding under a blanket, vision seems to be improving tho

Try and sleep it off. It's the only thing that will help. Hope you feel better soon x

MissyMooandherBeaverofSteel · 07/03/2013 19:44

Thats good. Make sure you get lots of rest and maybe make an appointment for a check up in the next few days.

Hai1988 · 07/03/2013 19:53

Thanks Grin it was a comment made to me after a random lady asked if I had stitches after the birth of my robust son.

How are you feeling today? Did you manage to get a good sleep?

Hai1988 · 08/03/2013 16:48
