7 week scan no heartbeat

I had a threatened miscarriage two weeks ago at 5 weeks, went to EPU with heavy bleeding but scan showed a tiny heart beat flicker and my cervix was still closed. Had a follow up scan today (have continued to bleed a little for last 2 weeks) baby should be 7 weeks but growth shows baby at size of 6 weeks and they couldn't find a heartbeat. I've been booked in for another scan next week to 'double check' there isn't a heartbeat because its so early in pregnancy. I've also been warned I might experience a miscarriage before my scan next week. Anyone else been through this? What was your outcome? Thanks x

Hello Inshock

I had this last year, should have been 9 weeks, baby measuring 6 weeks, no HB present at first scan, sent away for a week to rescan.
However I then miscarried at home the day after the first scan :(

I would say that it ain't over til it's over, dates can be muddled, ovulation can be a lot later than average, and atm you are only a week out on your measurements and there are plenty of stories on here of people having happy outcomes and that by the 12 week scan the baby has caught up to where it should have been anyway.

Don't lose hope just yet x
