Ugh. I am 9 weeks pregnant. I feel sick all the time. I retch every morning in the shower. Yesterday the avocado I had with dinner made its reappearance while I was brushing my teeth before (early) bed.

I need to graze constantly to keep the nausea at bay so I don't enjoy any "proper" food.

I got hardly any sleep last night and my back, knees and hips are agony.

I can't have enough proper coffee to keep me awake. Or any Wine to make it all better.

This baby had better be bloody brilliant Hmm

Whinge away! Those early days are horrible but it won't last! Smile It seems like forever away at the moment but in just a matter of months you'll be holding your beautiful baby (who will be brilliant!) & wondering where the time went! Grin

Congratulations! Wink

Have you tried all the usual things? I found 7up a lifeline when I couldn't drink anything else! Pretzels too, but then they seemed really salty so I'd sit for hours picking off the big lumps of salt! Blush

Thank you - just needed a moan really. I know it won't last forever, but it sure feels like it!

I was on cereal bars for the nausea, but they seemed to shatter and then the bits all stuck in my throat Sad so now I am on sesame crackers which are bland and slightly salty and seem to be easier to eat and more effective.

I am feeling quite anxious about whether its all going to be ok. Fingers crossed for the scan in a few weeks.

Getting, please let me join you!
Am on a tester ginger biscuit (gave gone off most normal snacks including cereal bars), and am being sick all the time. Body weary and painful after only 2 days of this. Trials of happy pregnancy huh! Grin

I'll join you!! I'm the other end of pregnancy and its no better!!

My hips ache to the point of it being quite uncomfortable to walk, my back is struggling with the weight of the bump, my feet and hands have chosen the last week of my pregnancy to swell up like balloons, my boobs are SO sore, and if all that wasn't enough I have serious constipation and yet peeing on the hour, every hour.

I agree with you, OP. this baby had better be bloody good!!

phoenixrose314 · 06/03/2013 11:18

Oh, and consider getting a pregnancy pillow. Been an absolute godsend in helping me sleep.

GettingObsessive · 06/03/2013 13:37

Gah. If men had babies then they would have found a better way by now Angry

DH moderately sympathetic but clearly doesn't get just how bloody wearing and tiring it all is - even te strain of not telling anyone is nearly killing me especially as I am such a blanbermouth usually

Omg I'm soooo glad there's a whining forum, that's basically why I joined mumsnet, to find people in the same boat to talk to because I feel soooo bad moaning at my friends and hubby! I am 11weeks, scan next Tuesday which I'm very anxious about, retching all the time, actually sick twice a day, need to eat but have gone off foods, horrendous lower back ache and am more exhausted than i thought humanly possible, headaches, constipation and the latest thing to join the happy club is dizziness, coming down with sore throat/cold too and am really really mardy! All of this coupled with hormones has made me feel down and useless, doesn't help that we're moving house and I'm too exhausted to help pack :-(

Sorry don't know why that posted twice!

How is it that everyone's managing to just leave the house in the morning? Lowerhouse back so bad can't find a comfy seating position, without even starting on walking and the accompanying dizziness/sickness
