I have well dd.
Lost my ds after he was born and had two mc

That's why I'm under a consultant, supposed to be having a six week scan on wed.

But saw a tiny tiny speck of blood on wiping last night and I'm not too sure what to do ? Wait till wed or try and contact someone today?

Oh bless you, didn't want you to go unanswered. I totally understand why you're nervous, given your history. I hope it reassures you that some bleeding in pregnancy can be normal - I had quite a lot of spotting at 12 weeks and all was fine.

Can I suggest an alternative? Take it easy today, keep an eye on things. It may well settle down on its own. If it does, I'd ring them tomorrow and ask their advice. If it gets worse, ring today for advice.

I really hope it all settles down and you have a healthy, sticky bean in there :)

Thanks have a little faith x

I know from previous mc, that bleeding means about 50% chance of it working out or notand that although not normal is common

But this is how my last mc started had a bigger spec if blood about 9 weeks, had scan all seemed fine bb etc
Then a few weeks later.
Started bleeding
And I'd had a mmc

The Dr I'm under said he would probably give me some treatment to help sustain this pg. But after I've had a scan to make sure its in the right place.

I'm assuming he means progesterone or something.
But don't they normally put people on that straight away if they are going to?

Did you conceive naturally? I've only really known those who had fertility treatment be on progesterone and yes they were on it from the outset. Doesn't mean that they don't give it to women later (I'm no expert!).

I'd ring your consultant in the morning for some advice/reassurance.

Yes I concieved naturally.

just been to the loo again and there was three tiny spots of blood on wiping.

so i called the breavement midwife, who ive been under, shes going to tell the consultant tomorrow and shes gonna let me know if he wants to see me earlier than wed

guess theres nothing other to do than wait and see what happens, and wait and see if i get a phone call tomorrow, in a way i'd rather wait till wed for the scan, because im worried it will be too early to see anythng anyway.

oh no, I would second the suggestion to try and get some rest. You hear of lots of people on here who go through bleeding all the way through the 1st trimester and have successful pregnancies. fingers crossed for you.

whiteandyellowiris · 03/03/2013 12:37

thanks for the reply, i know only thing i can do is wait and see
at least i will be seen wed if not before i guess

its now turned into brown stain when i wipe and in my underwear.
Sad getting bit worried about ectopic pg possability

You need to try not to get too ahead of yourself...(easier said than done i know!)...do you have any pain or is it just the bleeding? How are things this morning?

whiteandyellowiris · 04/03/2013 11:48

thanks for askingSmile
well nothing too dramatic happened overnight, was half expecting to start heavy bleeding, theres been a couple of tiny red spots today, and more brown on wiping.
but no leaving a brown mark in my underweaar today
i would say im in pain, a bit aachey, but put that down to streching pain, certainly not pain thats concering me

i'm just looking at it, as it's probably a mc, just hoping its not an ectopic or anythng that makes it even more a physical ordeal.
while still 1% of me hopes it will all be alright, but im pretty much resigned myself to thinking it isnt
