Just ate possibly mouldy crumpet!

Sorry, hoping I'm panicking unnecessarily, but I just ate half a crumpet and then realised the rest in the pack were mouldy. I didn't really examine the first one, so there could have been mould on it, although I didn't see any. I'm 17 weeks pregnant. Have I done something really stupid? Could it do any harm?

I wouldn't worry about it, it's a common mistake especially with breads. If you experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, fever or stomach cramps go and see the doc, but it's highly unlikely Smile

you will be fine, I however have to clean my keyboard as I just spat my pizza out at your thread title.

You will be fine. It cannot have been bad or the taste would have made you stop munching it. Have a glass of water and forget about it. It

If you start vommiting severlly call nhs direct, but I doubt you will and I doubt it could harm the baby, the amount of mouldy food i have eaten in my life is alarming and I have never vommitied from it.

(Just spat out half my tea)... This thread title is almost as good as 'just touched my neighbours dog and ate lunch without washing my hands'

You will be fine. They are surprisingly robust. :)
