Over the moon, but confused

I got my BFP this morning which I am over the moon about. Have not even told DH yet as he was at work and now I am.
I am nervous but optimistic as I miscarried at 8 weeks in Nov and suffered a CP in Jan.
The reason for my confusion is that I tested this morning, the day before AF due so would technically only be 4 weeks, however CB digi says 2-3 weeks, making me 5-6 weeks? Am very very certain of my dates.
I have 6 year old twins who I love to bits but would really like to experience it with only 1 baby this time and am now concerned that the test is picking up higher HCG levels meaning there may be 2 in there again!
Anybody out there with any thoughts on this please?

IIRC cb digi says 2-3 when you are 4-5.

Hi dunkin, probably not what you want to hear but my first thought when I read your post was that it may be twins... I tested day before af and got preg 1-2 and the didn't get 2-3 for at least another 10 days.
Have you got any other symptoms?

Would the 2 to 3 weeks pg on the digi mean that you were 4 weeks, as it would date from conception?

Hopefully someone will be along soon who will know.

I'm 5 weeks pg, I also had two miscarriages and a still birth in the past two years, so I understand your anxiety.

I got 2-3 on one when I tested the day AF was due. So was correct for me the I would have been around 4.

Thanks for your replies. Think maybe I paniced about twins again a bit soon. If its 4 - 5 weeks then it fits ok, maybe just concieved a bit sooner than I thought.
No symptons so far. Really thought we had lucked out this month so lovely surprise this morning. Nausea kicked in at 5 - 6 weeks with the twins so early days yet. Boobs didn't even hurt like all my other pregnancies.

The first CB I used in this pregnancy put me minimum a week ahead of where I should have been (was using OPK's so know when I ovulated) and I was scared it was twins. Used another one 10 days later and it still said the same, have since had an early scan and only 1 in there! They aren't all that accurate, your HCG can vary from person to person anyway so a day here and there can affect your result on it :)
