MATB1 Form - when did you get yours?

Hi everyone,

I just wondered when everyone got their MATB1 form and who did you get it from? Thanks!

At my 20week appt I think.

From my midwife I meant to add!

24 weeks. Midwife said because that is when the baby is viable.

You're supposed to get given it at your 20 wks scan but I never got one, asked mw for it at 28 wks - don't wait for someone to offer it or you might never get one!

I got it at my 24 week MW appt.

At my 20 week scan.

28 week MW appt.

MW told me at 16 week appt that she would give it to me at 25 week appt, but if I wanted it any time after 20 weeks to phone her and she would post it to me.

34 weeks appointment on Wednesday! I'm 2nd time round and the MW was running so late at my 28wk appt that I was rushed in and out and didn't get to ask :(

If you're working, your work should keep pushing you for it. As long as you've told them your end date before then (for their planning purposes) and your HR and boss know, you should be fine to give it to them late but as someone said above, don't rely on the MWs to remember to give it to you!

25wk appointment - had to ask for it though!

I went to see my GP at about 20 weeks about something else and she offered to give it to me :) My consultant who i saw later that week was pleasantly surprised, as a lot of GPs are difficult about handing them out, apparently.

28 week appointment with MW, but did have to ask her for it. You can have it any time after 24 weeks I think.

Thanks for all the replies! I will see if they will give it to me at my 20 week scan if not I will ask my MW at 25 week apt!! My work are pushing me for it but I am only 17 weeks...!

I asked on weds when I went and she said anytime after 21 weeks but they said they would post it if I needed them to.
