baby book?

Hi I am not from the UK originally so not sure how much of a tradition this is. Anyone know where to get a really nice baby book, I still have mine from when I was born and it has spaces for pictures, foot print, fill-ins for weight, first crawl, walk, work etc. Anyone seen anything like that in the UK? John lewis had journals but they werent really that nice looking

I got an absolutely beautiful one from my parents that was from Mamas and Papas I think. It was called 'Once upon a time...' and had a lovely fairy tale theme to it :)

thanks! so they are commonly called "Baby Journals"? I will head to mothercare and mamas and papas this weekend I love to see the inside before buying on just online. :)

I use the Ryland, Peters & Small ones - they're lovely. Lots of space for photos and pockets to put bits and pieces in.

The Works sometimes have some really nice looking ones in.

We have a lovely boxed Very Hungry Caterpillar one for DS. Not the usual ribbony pastel one with a bear on the front (I think DD's is like that!)

I saw one this morning in WHSmith in with the other pregnancy books.

I have one by from me to you called bump to birthday, a pregnancy and first year journal. In fact loved it so much that I had one for DD 2.2 and DC2 is due in 7 weeks. They've got space for recording events and photos etc.

I also have Our Story for DD which is birth to 18 journal, by the same publisher.

It's a local business, but you can now get them in lots of shops inc amazon.

I had three or four with DD but they were all pants. People bought then for me as gifts.
