Hi everyone. I'm 5 weeks pregnant! :) (possible TMI coming up - sorry...)

I noticed today that my areolas aren't as big as they have been over the last couple of weeks, although I do think they're darker than before. My breasts have been getting less tender as well - now they hurt like hell if they're knocked but otherwise they're fine.

Also, I was getting a lot of mild to moderate cramping since before my period was due but that's decreased over the last two days as well (this is crazy because over the weekend I was worried BECAUSE of the cramps, now I'm worried because they're getting less painful and frequent!)

I've had some very mild nausea but more than anything I just don't feel hungry. (this doesn't stop me from eating whatever is put in front of me - I just don't seem to be getting any hunger cues.)

Finally, today I've been FREEZING. I was sat at home with the heating on full, wrapped in a blanket and wearing gloves earlier and I was still chilly. It's rubbish! :(

So I guess my question is - is this stuff something to be scared about? (particularly the fading symptoms) Am I about to miscarry or should I just chill out and be happy that my symptoms aren't making my life hell?!

It all sounds normal to me - the cramping does tend to easy off ime.

Sadly your nausea has time to kick in, or you might be lucky and not suffer with it.

Congratulations on your BFP

EASE off

Sounds just like me at 11 weeks nearly 12, boobs still same size too although they were big enough to start with!

So..... I think you're okay, lots of threads say a similar story if its any consolation

Hey! I found out I was pg at 5 weeks with my first and I'm now 10. I went through all of the things you describe including unexplained feeling freezing! Cramps normal... it's everything 'bedding in' apparently... and it eases off.

I went through everything you describe- sore boobs and cramps around week 4, freezing cold weeks 5-7, nausea peaked at about 8-10 weeks, hungry all the time- loads of weird things all caused by your rocketing hormones. I'm 12 now and getting a bump so guess there's something in there. I'm pretty sure I've felt it move. Scan tomorrow so will see if it's all ok. Good luck with yours.

All normal! I feel cold from time to time - to the point where my teeth chatter! My DH sometimes comes home to me with the fire on, wearing layers, under a wool blanket, shivering! He's taken his top off before now because he's so warm!

Sporadic symptoms are also normal. I had loads of AF-type pains in my back when I first found out, then nothing for 3 weeks when I genuinely thought maybe my period was coming!

Also, my nipples have become darker but not bigger but they do hurt like heck!

At 5 weeks I was feeling great - no major symptoms, had masses of energy...now 7+6 weeks and I have nausea all day long, and feel so tired that I nap for 2-3 hours at a time!

The time to worry is if you have bright red blood flow - but even then a lot of women go on to have healthy babies!

Congratulations!
