Hi honey86 I am experiencing these and am already worried about mc.

Thanks for putting my mind at rest Kilkers :)

I understand as I suffered a MC last time I was pg. It's so difficult not to worry about every tiny thing and time passes so slowly! Trying to stay positive though and Mumsnet is a great resource when you're having a 'moment'.

Make sure you find the thread for people who are due the same month as you if you haven't already, I've found mine a brilliant support as we're all going through the same stuff at the same time Thanks

11+4 for me and they still make me neurotic nearly every day (sorry). I tend to get them for 2 or 3 days and then everything calms down for a while. Also pg post-mc so know exactly how you feel.

honey86 · 26/02/2013 17:48

thanks ladies.. i think having a mc does make you abit neurotic paranoid .. an old friend had an ectopic last week, and she lost a tube Sad makes me suspicious about any pelvic pain i get x

I'm also having these pains I'm 4+3 with baby #1 so terrified at every cramp! Thank god for mumsnet to ease my mind! Smile

I hope the pain doesn't last for you, however you might find that the same kind of pain comes and goes throughout your pregnancy. It's completely normal so don't be alarmed - just everything moving, stretching and growing for the baby.

I just wanted to post because I had crampy period type pains on and off when I was pregnant with DD1 and it used to freak me out due to previous mc.

I hope my post hasn't been unhelpful, I just wanted to reassure that it was normal for it to come and go.

Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy :).

I have had lots of period type pains o and off through my pregnancy and I am now 27 weeks. I had the "implantation" cramps at around 5 weeks too and they suspected Ectopic so they scanned me but all was fine. Also had lots if stretching and growing pains, so don't worry I'm sure everything is normal. Grin

I've had them with both my healthy pregnancies, but with my miscarriage I didn't get any at all til I bled. Try to see them as a good thing - pain and no bleeding means your ligaments are relaxing and your uterus is stretching, which means everything is doing what it should be Smile.

It is so hard going through early pregnancy after a miscarriage though. Hang in there, you'll get through it.
