Im very upset of late im now 13 weeks my scan due next weds. Being 14 weeks.
Ive told a few family members.. Mum sister, partners parents amd sister keeping it quiet until my first scan and then on to announce.

Thing is i have an older sister who i have not told due to a family falling out in october, she didnt want anything more to do with the family it was very upsetting. I would like to tell her but to many harsh words were said on her part, ive always tried to reason with her.

We have not spoken since, in my eyes she my big sis and i should tell her, but shes been awful things said and actions.. Not letting family see my niece or nephew. My head is xomplete mush.

Anyone had similar? I dont know what to do its upsetting me alot. X

Extend an olive branch, and share your news. She is still your big sister, and blood is thicker than water. We all say things to family that we probably wouldn't say to a friend, because we are close enough not to think twice. I had a massive falling out with my mum years ago, which lasted for ages. I'm sorry about it now as I love my mum to bits and she is the one person I know will always be there for me. I'm so glad she was the bigger person about it and prepared to forgive and forget the horrible things I said.

There is no guarantee that she will come round, but she might, especially if you go to her in a non-judgemental way and tell her you miss her. Good luck.
