Mobiles for moses baskets

Does anyone know where to get pretty mobiles that can attach to a moses basket rather than a cot? A lot of the plastic ones that make sounds and lights seem to only attach to a crib/cot and then are only suitable for up to 5/6 months old and we're planning on having our baby in the moses basket for this length of time before she moves into the big cot/bed. Thanks ladies pink 27+4

I wouldn't bother, they aren't in the Moses basket for long enough to appreciate it and if it fell for some reason it would be bad as they are so small. My dd has never had a mobile actually, she has pretty night lights instead that shine stars on the walls, much better and quieter

Your baby isn't going to be in the moses for that long

They outgrow them within a few months, does it have a hood??
I'd just put the hood up and clip a dangly toy onto it

:)

some moses baskets come with the little toys on them, I would just look for one of those.

Thanks for your comments, I've been looking at the night lights for the ceiling so will just go for that option instead and maybe with something dangling from the hood.

Don't bother. Your baby will certainly outgrow the Moses basket before six months (more like six weeks, usually!) and then you can get a cot mobile. Until eight weeks or so your baby can only focus about 8 inches away and sees best in black and white. If you want to get something for your baby to look at, there are special black and white patterns you can print out on paper.

"we're planning on having our baby in the moses basket for this length of time before she moves into the big cot/bed."

Many babies are out of their moses basket by six weeks. A this age babies aren't really interested in mobiles over their moses basket as they are usually asleep.

You might be better to invest in an activity gym which your baby will enjoy when awake.

My DS was 54cm at birth and was in his Moses basket until 5 months, wouldn't say its a particularly big one either so they can last a lot longer than 6 Weeks Confused

We put one of those toy arches that clip onto prams on ours when he got to about 8 Weeks and before that he never took any notice as he was asleep most of the time.

I wouldn't bother with a specific mobile for Moses basket but he did like the one on his cot which survived until he could stand up in it and yank it down although we had one where you could take the dangly bit off and still have the music part which was useful :)

We would have loved some sort of mobile for the Moses basket with DS. He was in it for 4 months, and we were struggling with his sleep. We moved his daytime naps to his cot, with mobile, earlier than this, and it helped, but sadly had no mobile for the basket.

We still use the mobile at 19mo, BTW!
