Bump support bands for spd

Hi...I am 21+3 with DS2 Smile & after suffering spd with DS1 from 28 weeks I recognise the signs this time round. Confirmed by MW today. I'm now on a waiting list for Physio, so was wondering how hopeful-if at all the bump support bands are that can be bought at Mothercare or other retailers? It's not as though I have a big bump (yet Smile) but my lower back is clicking, achiness in pelvis & hips & just general discomfort when moving.

I'm not sure if it depends on which hospital you have Physio at, but when I went for Physio for spd which started after forceps delivery, I was given a belt by the Physio. Maybe your midwife would know if you can expect that from your hospital?

I had a bump support band from last time and started wearing it around 20ish weeks, I had a little discomfort but nowhere near as bad as last time. It has helped and I am now 32 weeks and am glad for it somedays.

I had physio last time, but not this time.

Give it a try.
