Where to find plus size maternity clothes?

I've put on a bit of weight since DS was born so need to buy new maternity clothes now that I'm expecting DC2.

I'm a size 20 now. I was out at the shops today, and popped into a few that stock maternity wear (Mothercare, New Look), but they only seemed to go up to size 18.

Could anyone suggest where I might have more luck? Ideally I'd like to be able to try clothes on before I buy, but I'm guessing that this might be an impossible wish!

Next do up to a 22 I think? I bought some stuff from Evans' normal range for maternity, leggings and t shirts mainly.

I also have some Mothercare size 18 jersey maternity trousers which are humoungous. Seriously. You could have a gaggle of pregnant ladies in them with room to spare.

I found simply be did some reasonable stuff (www.simplybe.co.uk). They are good for basics - jeans, black trousers, a few empire line type topsetc. I got some fab jeggings/skinny jeans from there to wear with boots And long tops during the winter and they have been fantastic. I got three pairs, two black, one blue and have worn them pretty much every day since about 16 weeks (am now 34+1). They aren't that cheap but I think worth it if you're going to get plenty of wear out of them over the next few months.

eBay have loads of lovely stuff.

OP George at Asda have some bits, very reasonably priced. Think Tesco do too.

I am exactly the same OP and was thrilled to see H&M Mama range go up to 22. Mothercare have some stuff up to 20 on their website and otherwise I think bigger sizes from Evans may well see me through!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions Smile

My two best buys were £4-odd second hand dresses from eBay that I wore over Vertbaudet mat leggings. Also H&M.

H&M mama sizes M L and XL all fit me and I'm anywhere between 18-22 depending on body part. I have Next Mat jeans, but quality is a little poor, the over the bump ones have a stretchy band that rips easy and I've spent many an evening repairing them, only for them to rip again the next day. The large sizes go out of stock quickly so could only get a refund rather than a replacement. Only ones that fitted though.

I am wearing a pair of mothercare yoga pants in 18 and they are stretchy and roomy. Normally in 20-22

Try Yours. They have some high street stores and go up to a size 32.
